Someone I worked with some time ago, used the title “JOATMON”, meaning “Jack of All Trades, Master of None”. And some days I’d consider myself to be one… I’ve been in a wide swath of roles during my career. Managment, Operations, Engineering, Architecture, and even further, each has been in different domains. Why? I don’t know. What’s my end goal? I don’t know. I’m a hat guy in life; anywhere I go, I like to buy a hat to commemorate my travels. The same could be said of my career I guess…

All this to say, I’ve worked in different technologies all of my life, I take pride in being able to pick up new products, learn them, and be able to interact with them at a high level. I love chipping in where I can to help move the proverbial needle forward. I’ve done Systems/Server, Network, and Security in an operational, engineering, and arhcitectural level over the last 10+ years.

This blog is a outward display of the challenges I come across, which I (hopefully) solve. The goal is to make someone’s day better or easier, every day, and this blog is an extension of that. A rising tide lifts all boats.
